Cape Pillar
THE HISTORY OF THE CAPE PILLAR HASH HOUSE HARRIERS.
Background:
FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS........................ELPHUS 1988.
-
The Cape Pillar Hash was formed as a result of a very rational discussion
which took place in the Stubby Hut in Weipa, or was it the Albatross Hotel,
no the International Bar.............
-
The day following this in-depth discussion, and not being able to remember
any relevant details (barring the fact we were pissed the previous day) we
set about laying the ground rules for the new hash.
RULES:
-
1. The International Bar (onboard the Cape Pillar) is the home of the CPH3.
-
2. No poofters.
-
3. Starting time is negotiable providing the run occurs on a Monday.
-
4. All runs shall be conducted at sea, and shall be carried out on board
(not in or on the water). This rule applies equally to Jesus Christ and all
his descendants.
-
5. He who shortcuts shall have first shout at the bar, for everyone in the
bar at that time (only to be enforced if caught).
-
6. The distance traversed by the ship during the duration of the run, shall
be included in the total distance of the run.
-
In order to keep the rules within the objectives of the hash (normally no
rules) a time limit was placed on this inaugural meeting. The Epoch being
the time it takes to consume 1 stubby (Shultz being a none contender).
Unfortunately owing to the demise of this high precision time piece ( the
contents of which were deposited over the mooring deck) it was decided to
close the meeting and adjourn to the bar.

It should be noted that most or all of the above is probably lies.
